Be inspired in splendid Stamford which stands on the River Welland and was proclaimed by Sir Walter Scott as the finest stone town in England. Enjoy a free day in the quintessential english market town of Melton Mowbray and we also visit the charming conservation town of Spalding.

Guided tour of Burghley House
This is a grand sixteenth century country house stands proudly in the Cambridgeshire countryside. Look forward to discovering all about this Elizabethan treasure trove on a guided tour through the ornate rooms viewing collections of exquisite furniture, paintings, ceramics, tapestries, silverware and clocks, to name a few. Afterwards, enjoy the outstanding themed gardens where you’ll find fragrant flowers and various species of trees and shrubs as well as contemporary sculptures in a historic setting.

Stamford & Spalding
Enchanting Stamford is known as the finest stone town in England. Admire the well preserved timber framed buildings or follow the town trail that takes you through Stamford’s passageways and market square. From here, we follow the river to Spalding where you might like to stroll along the Georgian terraces or hop aboard the water taxi to Springfields Outlet Shopping Centre.
