Take in a trio of Irish cities along with excursions to the picturesque coastal resort of Newcastle, and the ancient town of Downpatrick, on this irresistible holiday of contrasts. Based in the heart of Newry, a city resting on the banks of Britain’s oldest manmade water, Newry Canal, and tucked away amidst the natural magnificence of the Mourne Mountains. It is known as the Gateway to the North and home to Bagenal’s Castle, a sixteenth century fortified dwelling which houses the Newry & Mourne Museum showcasing uncovered original features of this stronghold. Newry is also a shoppers’ haven with The Quays and The Buttercrane shopping centres. Holiday highlights take in a guided tour of Belfast where attractions include City Hall, Grand Opera House, and Albert Memorial Clock. We also enjoy a guided tour of Dublin where the Ha’penny Bridge, Trinity College, and Dublin Castle are just a few of the Fair City’s attractions.

Newcastle & Downpatrick
Look forward to a scenic drive to the picturesque seaside resort of Newcastle, a magical area of Outstanding Natural Beauty where the Mountains of Mourne sweep into the sea. We move on to ancient Downpatrick, home to a grand cathedral where St Patrick’s grave lies.
Guided Tour of Dublin
Enjoy a guided tour of the fair city on board our coach followed by free time. This cosmopolitan capital boasts numerous tourist attractions like the Guinness Storehouse where you can stand inside the world’s largest ‘pint’ glass and Dublinia with its
spellbinding Viking and medieval exhibitions. Then there’s Dublin Castle, St Patrick’s Cathedral, elegant shops, cobbled squares and more traditional pubs than you could shake a stick at – including the Brazen Head, which dates back to the twelfth century. Perhaps learn about Celtic culture at the National Leprechaun Museum or discover the city’s literary history at Dublin Writers Museum.
Guided Tour of Belfast
Capital of Northern Ireland, bustling Belfast is a port city with grand architecture such as the Baroque City Hall, Custom House, Grand Opera House, Albert Memorial Clock and Ulster Hall along with an ever-changing canvas of street art by international artists. Across the River Lagan at Queen’s Island, the RMS Titanic was launched in 1912 on its ill-fated voyage. After your guided tour, perhaps visit the incredible Titanic Belfast where you can re-live the story of this famous liner. This spellbinding and informative attraction tells the story of the RMS Titanic through nine galleries with special effects, full scale reconstructions and interactive zones.
