Relive those turbulent wartime days as you explore the underground warren of rooms that pulsated with planning and plotting. Discover the man behind the icon at the museum where his life from early childhood through to his state funeral is depicted with photos and film clips. Then explore splendid Chartwell, Churchill’s much-loved family home for over forty years and where you can make your way through the drawing room, library and dining room, still decorated as they were in the 1930s.

Your Excursions

Private tour of Churchill’s War Rooms & Museum
This historic underground labyrinth includes the War Cabinet Room, Transatlantic Telephone Room, Kitchen, Map Room and Churchill’s Office/Bedroom where he made four wartime speeches. The museum brings Churchill’s story to life with memorabilia and multi-media displays.

Chartwell & Royal Tunbridge Wells
The rooms at Chartwell remain much as they were when Churchill lived there with pictures, books and personal mementoes whilst the gardens reflect his love of nature. After time to look around, we head to the elegant spa town of Royal Tunbridge Wells.

Chatham Dockside Outlet & Rochester
Housed in a Grade II listed building next to the marina and the Dickens World attraction, Chatham Dockside Outlet features over forty stores offering great discounts. Rochester has many attractions such as a well preserved castle, Norman cathedral, Guildhall Museum and the Six Poor Travellers – a sixteenth century lodge for weary strangers.
