Springtime in Holland heralds the advent of the bulb fields season, creating a vibrant blanket of colours with sweet aromas perfuming the air. This sightseeing cruise features a visit to world-famous Keukenhof Gardens - the most spectacular floral display in the world. This attraction is known as the Garden of Europe, with its seven million tulips, daffodils and hyacinths creating a beautiful carpet of springtime blooms. It is only open for eight weeks each year during which time over one million visitors discover its charms. We also enjoy time in Antwerp, Rotterdam, Amsterdam, and Volendam as well as atmospheric Zaanse Schans, home to historic windmills, distinctive green wooden houses, clog workshops and regional costumes.

Your Holiday Itinerary
Day One. From local joining points we head to our overnight ferry enjoying dinner, entertainment and breakfast onboard.Day Two. We travel to Amsterdam for free time before boarding the MS La Boheme. Settle into your cabin before joining your fellow guests for cocktails with the crew, then dinner.
Day Three. Morning at leisure. After lunch, we make our way to pretty Volendam, characterised by its small houses and drawbridges over the canals. From here, we move on to fascinating Zaanse Schans, a residential area where the 18th and 19th centuries are brought to life with wooden houses, windmills and clog factories. We return to our ship for dinner and an evening at leisure.
Day Four. This morning we cruise to the busy port of Rotterdam. In the afternoon we travel by coach to world famous Keukenhof Gardens. This park will be a blanket of colour with tulips, hyacinths and daffodils in full bloom. Stroll around the park and explore
amazing displays of spring flowers exhibited in the extensive grounds and indoor pavilions. Look forward to a gala dinner onboard
your ship tonight.
Day Five. This morning we cruise to Antwerp which stands on the banks of the River Scheldt and is famous for its centuries old Diamond District. We return to our ship for dinner.
Day Six. After breakfast we disembark and make our way to Amsterdam for more free time in this picturesque city. Later, we head to our overnight ferry back to the UK, enjoying dinner, entertainment and breakfast on board.
Day Seven. We travel home after our delightful river cruise.

What’s more, each dish is paired with excellent complimentary wines. The overall atmosphere on board is informal with casual clothing, although most guests like to dress up in the evening.

All GLENTON continental holidays include dinner and breakfast onboard. Head to buffet restaurant where your waiter will show you to your table and take your order if you wish to purchase any drinks. Then you’re free to help yourself from the wide selection of tasty dishes from around the world. At breakfast, choose from continental or a fully cooked menu. Alternatively if you fancy treating yourself, why not upgrade to the à la carte restaurant and enjoy fine dining with full waiter service?
Entertainment
Make your way to the show lounge and enjoy live entertainment throughout the evening – or take your place on the dance floor for a wee boogie! Perhaps you’d like to catch a blockbuster movie at the cinema or try your luck at the casino.

Your GLENTON continental holiday includes an air conditioned inside en suite cabin with bunk beds. However, you can upgrade to a cabin with level beds and/or sea view for a small supplement. Please ask your holiday advisor when booking.

This elegant ship has a delightful restaurant on the upper deck with panoramic windows so you can enjoy the view as you dine. Also on the upper deck is a cosy and colourful lounge bar with dance floor. The extensive sundeck has comfortable loungers and is perfect for relaxing – or perhaps join the morning fitness class. There is also a reception and gift shop.
