Nestling between Germany, France and Belgium, the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg is a fairytale haven with historic fortresses and picture-postcard hamlets. Our holiday is based in Vianden, a pretty village tucked-away near the border with Germany and towered over by an impeccably restored medieval castle. We venture out to visit the tourist hub of Remich and lovely Echternach - Luxembourg’s oldest town. We also take in a guided tour of stylish Luxembourg City. The Grand Hotel de Vianden is ideally situated within walking distance of the medieval town centre, the River Our and the imposing castle and makes a delightful base for our adventure.
