If you’ve always wanted to experience Italy then don’t miss this magnifico tour! Florence features the must-see Ponte Vecchio. Pisa is renowned for its iconic Leaning Tower, set within the Square of Miracles. Lucca is a terracotta coloured metropolis enclosed by ancient walls whilst Siena is regarded as the finest medieval town in Italy. Rome is chock-a-block with landmarks, such as the Colosseum, Pantheon and Trevi Fountain. Verona is home to “Juliet’s House” on the Via Cappello and then there’s Venice, the romantic city of canals and bridges. Visits to Shakespeare’s Verona and unspoilt Lake Garda complete this unforgettable holiday.

Your Holiday Itinerary
Day One. We travel to our ferry to the continent enjoying dinner, entertainment and breakfast onboard.
Day Two. We proceed to our dinner, bed and breakfast hotel.
Day Three. We arrive at the Tuscan Coast and check into the Hotel Piccolo Mondo for three nights.
Day Four. A guided walking tour of Florence taking in the Ponte Vecchio, Piazza del Duomo and the Uffizi Gallery – followed by free time.
Day Five. This morning it’s a guided walking tour of Pisa’s landmarks including the iconic Leaning Tower in the Square of Miracles. Later, we move on to Lucca, where you can walk along the ancient walls to get an overview of this grand city.
Day Six. We check out of our hotel then step back in time with a guided walking tour of ancient Siena – a storybook settlement with soaring spires, medieval walls and the Piazza Del Campo. Later we continue to the Hotel Pineta Palace in Rome and check in for three nights.
Day Seven. A holiday highlight as we travel to Rome. The Colosseum, Trevi Fountain and Pantheon are just some of the landmarks on today’s guided walking tour.
Day Eight. Returning to Rome, choose either free time or, for a small supplement, join our escorted tour of the Vatican City, taking in the Sistine Chapel, St Peters Square and the Vatican Museum.
Day Nine. We check out of our hotel and make our way to Umbria where we visit the pilgrimage village of Assisi. Here you’ll find the Basilica which contains the tomb of St Francis. From here, we continue to the Hotel Venezia for our two
nights bed and breakfast stay, with dinner in a local restaurant both evenings.
Day Ten. We catch the ferry to St Mark’s Square in Venice for a guided walking tour, followed by free time. In the afternoon, we hop aboard a boat to visit the islands of Murano & Burano, famous for delicate glassware and dainty lace.
Day Eleven. We check out of our hotel and journey to Verona, the truly beautiful city of Romeo and Juliet. Perhaps head to Piazza Bra and catch the little land train that takes you on a circuit of Verona’s highlights. Don’t miss the Roman amphitheatre and Juliet’s balcony on the Via Cappello. Later we continue to Lake Garda for free time and a dinner, bed and breakfast stop.
Day Twelve. We head to our dinner, bed and breakfast hotel.
Day Thirteen. We continue to our ferry back to the UK with dinner, entertainment and breakfast on board.
Day Fourteen. We journey home.
Overnight Ferry to Continent
Your holiday moves up a gear when you board your overnight ferry for your sailing to the continent. Drop your overnight bag in your cabin then explore the ship or unwind with an aperitif in one of the bars.
On Board Dining
All continental holidays include dinner and breakfast onboard. Head to buffet restaurant where your waiter will show you to your table and take your order if you wish to purchase any drinks. Then you’re free to help yourself from the wide selection of tasty dishes from around the world. At breakfast, choose from continental or a fully cooked menu. Alternatively if you fancy treating yourself, why not upgrade to the à la carte restaurant and enjoy fine dining with full waiter service?
Entertainment
Make your way to the show lounge and enjoy live entertainment throughout the evening – or take your place on the dance floor for a wee boogie! Perhaps you’d like to catch a blockbuster movie at the cinema or try your luck at the casino.
Cabins
Your continental holiday includes an air conditioned inside en suite cabin with bunk beds. However, you can upgrade to a cabin with level beds and/or sea view for a small supplement. Please ask your holiday advisor when booking.
