Our sightseeing gets underway with a visit to the Giant’s Causeway, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that was formed from volcanic eruptions sixty million years ago. We enjoy a visit to the Titanic Experience to relive the story of the tragic liner. We explore the picturesque Wicklow Mountains with its untamed forests, twisting mountain roads and fast flowing streams. Another guided tour, this time the Fair City of Dublin then we enjoy a feast for the senses at Powerscourt Gardens, discover Stone Age settlements at Lullymore Heritage Park and experience the glitz of Hollywood at the Silverware Museum of Style Icons.
Your Holiday Itinerary
Day One. Join the coach at your local pickup point, meet your host, then sit back and relax as we journey to Cairnryan for our ferry crossing to Belfast. After disembarking, we journey to Carrickfergus and check into the Loughshore Hotel for our two nights stay.
Day Two. We travel along the famous Antrim Coast Road, taking in spectacular views as we wind our way to the Giant’s Causeway to marvel at the unique rock formations. Later, we take in a tour and taste at Bushmills Distillery.
Day Three. Today we explore the Titanic Experience in Belfast. This exhibition extends over nine galleries with special effects, dark rides, full scale reconstructions and interactive zones before we journey to Enfield and check into the family run Hamlet Court Hotel for our four night stay.
Day Four. We include entry to colourful Powerscourt Gardens then later we head through Glendalough valley to explore the Wicklow Mountains National Park.
Day Five. We head to the Fair City of Dublin where our guided tour will get your sightseeing off to a great start. You can enjoy some free time to explore, attractions induce the Guinness Storehouse, St Patrick’s Cathedral, Temple Bar and the GPO Witness History museum, inside this captivating visitor attraction, experience the events of the 1916 Easter Rising from the witnesses perspective – from active participants on both sides, to bystanders caught in the middle.
Day Six. First up is the Lullymore Heritage & Discovery Park where we learn about the Irish heritage and culture. From here, we move on to the Newbridge Silverware Centre & Museum of Style Icons with its fashion collections from celebrities such as Princess Diana and Audrey Hepburn.
Day Seven. After breakfast we head for our ferry home.
