Relish one magical experience after another on this sensational adventure taking in Italian gems and German jewels along with a tantalising taste of Luxembourg. Be thrilled by Florence, filming location for the movie Room with a Viewand known as the “Cradle of the Renaissance”. Florence features exquisite landmarks such as a magnificent cathedral, wonderful basilica, the Piazza della Signoria with its splendid statues, and the quirky Ponte Vecchio. Pisa is renowned for its iconic Leaning Tower, nestling within the Square of Miracles alongside a remarkable baptistery and the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta. We make a stop at the walled town of Siena, regarded as the finest medieval town in Italy with its terracotta architecture crowned by soaring spires. We move on to Lido Di Ostia – Rome’s seaside resort. Here we blend beachfront strolls with discovering the Eternal City where world famous landmarks include the Colosseum, the delightful Trevi Fountain and the mind-blowing Pantheon – an amazingly well preserved temple dating from 27 B.C. A special treat will be our guided tour of the Vatican following historic corridors adorned with works of art leading to the sacred Sistine Chapel then into awesome St Peter’s Basilica. Our final Italian enchantment is vivacious Venice, the romantic city of canals and bridges. We journey to Germany and to the waterfront paradise of Friedrichshafen on the shores of dazzling Lake Constance. Look forward to a cruise on the glassy waters taking in the ancient city of konstanz, picturesque Lindau and the floral island of Mainau. Our holiday rounds off with a stay in Luxembourg’s charming hamlet of Vianden – home to a fairytale castle
