Your Holiday Itinerary
Day One. We journey to Cairnryan for our ferry crossing to Ireland and check into our overnight hotel for dinner and evening at leisure.
Day Two. After breakfast we continue to the seaport city of Cork where we’ll have some time to take in its historical landmarks and impressive architecture. Later, we check in at the Celtic Ross Hotel.
Day Three. A day at leisure to explore historic Rosscarbery with its attractive central square, Blue Flag beach and prettily decorated buildings or perhaps make use of the hotel’s excellent leisure facilities.
Day Four. Killarney is today’s treat – visit fifteenth century Ross Castle or the magnificent Victorian mansion Muckross House. Hop aboard a jaunting car or take a boat trip to Innisfallen Island.
Day Five. The highlight of our holiday as we venture forth to Cobh - the last port of call for the ill-fated Titanic. Here we take in a guided tour of the Titanic Experience. Set in the original White Star Line Ticket Office, we receive a boarding pass giving details of one of the passengers who boarded back in 1912. We then embark on a virtual journey aboard the legendary liner, including the moment when disaster struck and we discover the fate of our named passenger. Rest of the day is at leisure in Cobh.
Day Six. We bid farewell to the Celtic Ross Hotel then enjoy some free time in Cork before continuing to our hotel for dinner and evening at leisure.
