This fascinating holiday is based in Valkenburg, a lively Dutch town where you’ll find caves dating back to Roman times. We visit Vaals where the meeting point of the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium is marked by the soaring Tripoint watchtower. Cologne is renowned for its gothic cathedral and finally Brussels boasts a UNESCO World Heritage Site central square. Our base is the Hotel Walram, set in a riverbank square close to the centre of Valkenburg.
PLEASE NOTE: Price is per person and based on two people sharing a twin/double room. Single room supplements and upgrades are not included.

Your Holiday Itinerary
Day One. We head for our overnight ferry to the continent, enjoying dinner, entertainment and breakfast on board.Day Two. We continue to Valkenburg to check into Hotel Walram for our three night stay. Rest of the day is free to explore.
Day Three. We travel to Vaals, the meeting point of Holland, Belgium and Germany. Take in the view from the top of the watchtower or wander around the quirky maze. We proceed into Germany and to Aachen where must-see attractions include the gothic cathedral, Palatine Chapel and the Elisenbrunnen Fountain.
Day Four. Look forward to a full day in Cologne, a two thousand year old city spanning the River Rhine. The main attractions are the magnificent cathedral featuring the Shrine of the Three Kings and the Museum Ludwig with its masterpieces by Picasso.
Day Five. We check out of our hotel and travel to Brussels where you might like to relax in Grand Place. Then it’s onwards to Rotterdam for our overnight ferry back to the UK enjoying dinner, entertainment and breakfast on board.
Day Six. We make our way home after a great holiday.

On Board Dining
All GLENTON continental holidays include dinner and breakfast onboard. Head to buffet restaurant where your waiter will show you to your table and take your order if you wish to purchase any drinks. Then you’re free to help yourself from the wide selection of tasty dishes from around the world. At breakfast, choose from continental or a fully cooked menu. Alternatively if you fancy treating yourself, why not upgrade to the à la carte restaurant and enjoy fine dining with full waiter service?
Entertainment
Make your way to the show lounge and enjoy live entertainment throughout the evening – or take your place on the dance floor for a wee boogie! Perhaps you’d like to catch a blockbuster movie at the cinema or try your luck at the casino.
