12 Day Coach Holiday
On this magnifico tour, we stay right on the lakeside in the picture postcard commune of Torbole. This gorgeous little town enjoys a stunning setting in Lake Garda, enclosed by soaring mountains with shimmering waterfront vistas. A stroll through its narrow winding streets is not to be missed, passing colourful, flower adorned buildings, perhaps pausing at its fifteenth century Casa Beust historic house. The tiny harbour is the village hub where you can relax in a pretty piazza pavement café or take a pleasure cruise. Exceptional sightseeing takes in nearby Malcesine, a resort that rises from the sparkling water in a pretty jumble of cobbled streets and little squares and has a cable car taking visitors to the top of Mount Baldo, known as the “Garden of Europe”. Then there’s historic Garda, a former fishing village and now one of the main resorts with its inviting beach and promenade. Sirmione is simply stunning with its grand fortress and Roman ruins. Look forward to exploring Venice, the romantic city of canals and bridges where the focal point is St Mark’s Square. We also spend a day in Verona, home to one of the best preserved Roman amphitheatres in the world, and Juliet’s Balcony on Via Cappello.

Your Holiday Itinerary
Day One. We head to our overnight ferry to the continent, where we enjoy dinner, entertainment and breakfast on board.Day Two. We continue to our dinner, bed and breakfast overnight hotel.
Day Three. Onwards to Torbole where we check into the Hotel Paradiso for our seven night stay.
Day Four. We journey to beautiful Malcesine. Perhaps visit the striking Castello Scaligero, stroll by the tiny harbour, take a seat in a traditional café or browse the small boutique shops. We also visit Garda, where the atmospheric medieval centre has tiny alleys that show traces of lifestyles throughout the centuries.
Day Five. A guided walking tour of Venice is our treat today where you’ll find impressive and iconic sights such as St Mark’s Square, the Basilica, the Bridge of Sighs and the Ponte Rialto. Perhaps indulge in a time-honoured gondola ride, meander through the maze of narrow streets or watch the colourful vessels on the Grand Canal.
Days Six & Seven. Two free days to explore divine Torbole. Relax in lakeside pavement café or take a pleasure cruise from the quaint harbour.
Day Eight. Another day, another delight as we journey to vivacious Verona, an unspoilt city with the best preserved Roman amphitheatre in the world. Other attractions include the Basilica of St Zeno, the Lamberti Tower and the bustling market at Piazza delle Erbe. Be sure to visit “Juliet’s House” on the Via Cappello!
Day Nine. The gems keep coming as we visit Sirmione, located on the tip of a long peninsula and home to a grand castle as well as the ruins of an ancient Roman villa. This afternoon we enjoy a scenic cruise on Lake Garda.
Day Ten. A fond arrivederci as we journey to our dinner, bed and breakfast overnight hotel.
Day Eleven. We continue to our overnight ferry with dinner, entertainment and breakfast on board.
Day Twelve. We make our way home with our wonderful holiday memories.

Overnight Ferry to Continent
Your holiday moves up a gear when you board your overnight ferry for your sailing to the continent. Drop your overnight bag in your cabin then explore the ship or unwind with an aperitif in one of the bars.
On Board Dining
All GLENTON continental holidays include dinner and breakfast onboard. Head to buffet restaurant where your waiter will show you to your table and take your order if you wish to purchase any drinks. Then you’re free to help yourself from the wide selection of tasty dishes from around the world. At breakfast, choose from continental or a fully cooked menu. Alternatively if you fancy treating yourself, why not upgrade to the à la carte restaurant and enjoy fine dining with full waiter service?
Entertainment
Make your way to the show lounge and enjoy live entertainment throughout the evening – or take your place on the dance floor for a wee boogie! Perhaps you’d like to catch a blockbuster movie at the cinema or try your luck at the casino.
