12 Day Coach Holiday
On this magnifico tour, we head to beautiful and historic Lake Garda. Look forward to discovering some of the most charming and iconic sights in Italy including the pretty resorts that stud the banks of the lake such as Malcesine and Sirmione. Then there’s Venice, the romantic city of canals and bridges to explore where the focal point is striking St Mark’s Square. We spend a day in the legendary city of Verona where you’ll be surrounded by history at every turn from Romanesque and Renaissance monuments to one of the best preserved Roman amphitheatres in the world – don’t miss Juliet’s Balcony on Via Cappello.

Your Excursions
Day One. We head to our overnight ferry to the continent enjoying dinner, entertainment and breakfast on board.Day Two. We continue on to our dinner, bed and breakfast overnight stop.
Day Three. We travel to Lake Garda and check into the Hotel Drago for our seven night dinner, bed and breakfast stay.
Day Four. We journey to beautiful Malcesine, a town that rises from the sparkling water in a pretty jumble of cobbled streets and little squares. Perhaps visit the striking Castello Scaligero, stroll by the tiny harbour, take a seat in a traditional café or browse the small boutique shops. We also visit the village of Limone.
Day Five. A guided walking tour of Venice is our treat today where you’ll find impressive and iconic sights such as St Mark’s Square, the Basilica, the Bridge of Sighs and the Ponte Rialto. Perhaps indulge in a dreamy gondola ride, meander through the maze of narrow streets or watch the colourful vessels on the Grand Canal.
Days Six & Seven. Two free days to relax at the poolside at your hotel or venture out to explore. Wander along the promenade or people watch in one of the pavement cafes at Punta San Vigilio where you’ll find a picturesque park and shingle beach.
Day Eight. Another day, another delight as we journey to vivacious Verona, an unspoilt city with the best preserved Roman amphitheatre in the world. Other attractions include the Basilica of St Zeno, the Lamberti Tower and bustling market at Piazza delle Erbe. Be sure to visit “Juliet’s House” on the Via Cappello to smile at lovestruck teenage boys photographing their girlfriends on the balcony!
Day Nine. The gems keep coming as we visit achingly beautiful Sirmione, located on the tip of a long peninsula and home to a grand castle as well as the ruins of an ancient Roman villa. This afternoon we also enjoy a scenic cruise on Lake Garda.
Day Ten. A fond arrivederci as we journey to our dinner, bed and breakfast overnight stop.
Day Eleven. We continue to our overnight ferry with dinner, entertainment and breakfast on board.
Day Twelve. We make our way home with our wonderful holiday memories.
Overnight Ferry to Continent
Your holiday moves up a gear when you board your overnight ferry for your sailing to the continent. Drop your overnight bag in your cabin then explore the ship or unwind with an aperitif in one of the bars.
On Board Dining
All GLENTON continental holidays include dinner and breakfast onboard. Head to buffet restaurant where your waiter will show you to your table and take your order if you wish to purchase any drinks. Then you’re free to help yourself from the wide selection of tasty dishes from around the world. At breakfast, choose from continental or a fully cooked menu. Alternatively if you fancy treating yourself, why not upgrade to the à la carte restaurant and enjoy fine dining with full waiter service?
Entertainment
Make your way to the show lounge and enjoy live entertainment throughout the evening – or take your place on the dance floor for a wee boogie! Perhaps you’d like to catch a blockbuster movie at the cinema or try your luck at the casino.

Your GLENTON continental holiday includes an air conditioned inside en suite cabin with bunk beds. However, you can upgrade to a cabin with level beds and/or sea view for a small supplement. Please ask your holiday advisor when booking.
