Gairloch, Loch Maree & Skye
5 Day Coach Holiday
Gairloch is a village on the shores of Loch Gairloch amidst the stunning scenery of Wester Ross. We stay at the Gairloch Hotel where many of you will be familiar with manager, Tommy Sutherland – formerly manager at the Regent Hotel in Oban. The hotel has an amazing location, looking outwards towards the Isle of Skye with an unspoiled beachfront less than fifty metres away. What’s more, with Tommy at the helm, you can be sure of great entertainment along with friendly hospitality. Gairloch has lovely walks, great golfing, a local museum and whale watching boat trips
PLEASE NOTE: Price is per person and based on two people sharing a twin/double room. Single room supplements and upgrades are not included.
Glass Bottom Boat Trip
A thrilling day out as we head to Kyleakin on the Isle of Skye to board the award winning Seaprobe Atlantis semi-submersible glass bottom boat. Enjoy the best of both worlds, taking in views of Skye and the Scottish mainland as you sail under the Skye Bridge on the lookout for seals and otters then pop below deck to be amazed by an astonishing underwater world, alive with marine life such as star fish, sea urchins, crabs and jellyfish. Includes some free time in Kyleakin.
Loch Maree & Plockton
We enjoy a scenic outing to Loch Maree, the fourth largest freshwater loch in Scotland and home to over forty scattered islands. We also vist Plockton, the location of BBC TVs Hamish McBeth
A morning visit to this picturesque fishing village on the shores of Loch Broom. The original section of the village is part of Thomas Telford’s design and you’ll find buildings dating back hundreds of years, cottages from its fishing heritage and quaint old churches.
