Nothing gets you in the mood for Christmas quite like a fairytale yuletide market. These themed extravaganzas ooze nostalgia with twinkling lights, trimmed trees and decorated chalets. Edinburgh’s seasonal event is staged in the heart of this splendid metropolis and also features attractions such as an ice skating rink, fairground rides, Santa’s grotto and a huge advent calendar. Browse an array of stalls looking for that special gift, sip mulled wine and treat yourself to festive fayre as you soak up the sights and scents and immerse yourself in the magic of Christmas.

Your Holiday Itinerary

Day One. Join the coach at your local pickup point, meet your host then sit back and relax as we journey to Edinburgh to experience the city’s exciting Christmas market. This popular event enjoys a picturesque setting below the Mound, stretching along East Princes Street Garden Terrace and around the Scott Monument. Enjoy a unique, festive shopping experience with its array of crafters, artists, gifts and tasty delights. Look out for the big wheel, carousel, ice skating rink, ice sculptures, Santa’s grotto and a huge advent calendar at this romantic Yuletide festival. We head to our convieniently located hotel to check in for our overnight stay.

Day Two. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before we check out of our hotel then journey to Glasgow for some free time. Here you’ll find Christmas markets set in George Square and outside the St Enoch Centre offering a host of host of bespoke and traditional Christmas items along with a lively festive atmosphere. Later, we journey home.
