Popular Dunoon is the main town on the Cower Peninsula in the south of Argyll & Bute. The resort boasts lovely bays, pretty gardens, a pleasant promenade and a Victorian pier. Known as the gateway to the Highlands, the town is surrounded by the rolling hills of Argyll Forest Park. Perhaps visit Castle House Museum to discover the town’s fascinating history. We set sail for the delightful Isle of Bute, the enchanting Isle of Arran and magical Millport.

Your Excursions
Isle of Bute & RothesayWe set sail to explore the peaceful island haven of Bute with its heather-clad moorlands, magnificent Esplanade Gardens and splendid architecture. We continue to picturesque Rothesay, renowned for its palm trees and promenade as well as a charming atmosphere.
Isle of Arran & Brodick
We spend a day on the bonnie Isle of Arran, dubbed “Scotland in Miniature” with its mighty mountains, sheltered coves and verdant forests. Perhaps visit Brodick Castle & Gardens, a classic Victorian Highland estate and National Trust property.
Isle of Cumbrae & Millport
We sail to magical Millport on the Isle of Cumbrae which curves around a sandy bay backed by a seafront promenade. This quirky town is home to Britain’s smallest cathedral whilst its Garrison House is an eye-catching Gothic building and home to the Museum of the Cumbraes where you’ll find ancient archaeological exhibits. Be sure to snap a photo of Millport’s famous crocodile!
