The sprawling Cairngorms National Park covers an area twice the size of the Lake District and is the perfect place to get away from it all. A breathtaking area of natural beauty, it is home to mountains, woodland trails, sparkling lochs, distilleries and welcoming villages. Watch out for a wealth of wildlife such as the ospreys and eagles that grace the skies above ancient forests. Our unforgettable sightseeing takes in a trip on the enchanting Strathspey Steam Railway to popular Aviemore, home to attractions such as the Cairngorm Brewery Company and Loch-an-Eilein Pottery. We also ride the legendary West Highland Line to the fascinating port of Mallaig. A treat to cherish will be our cruise on the Caledonian Canal, an experience that will be forever etched on your mind and an incomparable way to experience Scotland’s mountains, lochs and glens.
Caledonian Canal Cruise
An unforgettable day is in store as we board our boat and set sail along the famous Caledonian Canal, gliding through the Great Glen, passing through locks and under bridges. Regarded as one of the most wonderful waterways in the world, sit back and relax as you drift past majestic mountains and glassy lochs.
Strathspey Steam Railway & Aviemore
Our second excursion is a nostalgic trip on the Strathspey Steam Railway as we journey almost ten miles through unspoilt Highland scenery to awe inspiring Aviemore, where we enjoy free time to explore, this popular town in the Cairngorms National Park.
West Highland Line & Mallaig
Our final trip takes us over forty miles along the dramatic West Highland Line to Mallaig, overlooking the Isle of Skye. We cross the spectacular multi-arched Glenfinnan Viaduct and rumble past the white sands of Morar. Mallaig contains a host of attractions such as the Heritage Centre and a genuine kipper smokery
