Perched on the banks of the River Spey on the edge of the Cairngorms National Park, the traditional town of Grantown is encircled by ancient woodlands and has a charming High Street lined with cafes, bars and interesting shops. Look forward to spending time in the popular Highland resort of Aviemore. Another treat is our visit to Inverness where you might care for a stroll along the peaceful banks of Loch Ness. On our 5 day holiday we also spend time at the coastal town of Nairn and Forres, one of Scotland’s oldest small towns.
