5 Day Coach Holiday
Leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life far behind when you head to the Outer Hebrides on this sightseeing adventure. We stay on bonnie Benbecula, home to white sands, wonderful walks and the pretty machair that is typical of these isles. Our exploring takes in South Uist, a relatively large isle, situated between Barra and Benbecula, where the main settlement is Lochboisedale. We also discover North Uist, a paradise for wildlife fans with its abundance of otters, seals and rare birds. Our final outing takes us to Barra, possibly the only place on planet Earth where scheduled flights land on the beach.
PLEASE NOTE: Price is per person and based on two people sharing a twin/double room. Single room supplements and upgrades are not included.

Your Excursions
Guided tour of South UistSouth Uist is the second largest island of the Outer Hebrides featuring lofty mountains and pristine beaches. It is home to Kildonan Museum where artefacts tell the island’s history, and a castle dating from the 1200s on nearby Calvay Isle. The main settlement is Lochboisdale where you’ll find white-washed cottages, a picturesque harbour and a friendly café, housed inside the Post Office.
Guided tour of North Uist
North Uist’s main village of Lochmaddy is home to a museum and art centre housing a café and shop. This island features prehistoric sites such as the huge Neolithic chambered burial cairn of Barpa Langais and the Piobull Ffinn Stone Circle. There is also the Balranald Nature Reserve where rare birds can be spotted.
Barra
This beautiful isle features gorgeous beaches, machair and moors. Perhaps learn about island culture at the heritage centre or watch for flights landing on the sand at Cockle Strand before the runway disappears beneath the waves at high tide.
