6 Day Coach Holiday
Explore beautiful Belgian cities along with uncovering the story of First World War battles and a tour and taste at a beer brewery. The port city of Antwerp has a centuries old Diamond District. Bruges is enchanting with leafy canals and horses’ hooves clipclopping on cobbled lanes. Ypres landmarks include the poignant Menin Gate where the Last Post is played. We learn about Belgium’s beer at Brewery Bourgogne then discover the bravery of soldiers at the Memorial Museum Passchendaele 1917.

Your Holiday Itinerary
Day One. We journey to our overnight ferry to the continent, where we enjoy dinner, entertainment and breakfast on board.Day Two. We head to Antwerp for free time. Landmarks include a medieval square with a baroque fountain, a gothic cathedral, and an ancient fortress. We continue to our hotel in Roeselare and check in for three nights.
Day Three. A day in medieval Bruges to perhaps take a horse and carriage ride or see the sights from aboard a canal boat. We include a guided tour at the Brewery Bourgogne des Flandres where we learn the brewing process and enjoy a tasting in the alehouse.
Day Four. A morning in Ypres - perhaps visit the In Flanders Fields Museum or the Menin Gate. Later, we move on to Zonnebeke and to the Memorial Museum Passchendaele 1917 which tells the story of First World War battles in a moving and vivid way.
Day Five. We check out of our hotel and head to Antwerp for more free time before continuing to our overnight ferry back to the UK, with dinner, entertainment and breakfast on board.
Day Six. We make our way home after our fascinating break.

Overnight Ferry to Continent
Your holiday moves up a gear when you board your overnight ferry for your sailing to the continent. Drop your overnight bag in your cabin then explore the ship or unwind with an aperitif in one of the bars.
On Board Dining
All GLENTON continental holidays include dinner and breakfast onboard. Head to buffet restaurant where your waiter will show you to your table and take your order if you wish to purchase any drinks. Then you’re free to help yourself from the wide selection of tasty dishes from around the world. At breakfast, choose from continental or a fully cooked menu. Alternatively if you fancy treating yourself, why not upgrade to the à la carte restaurant and enjoy fine dining with full waiter service?
Entertainment
Make your way to the show lounge and enjoy live entertainment throughout the evening – or take your place on the dance floor for a wee boogie! Perhaps you’d like to catch a blockbuster movie at the cinema or try your luck at the casino.
Cabins
Your GLENTON continental holiday includes an air conditioned inside en suite cabin with bunk beds. However, you can upgrade to a cabin with level beds and/or sea view for a small supplement. Please ask your holiday advisor when booking.
