3 Day Coach Holiday
The wonderful Isle of Bute hugs the coast of the Firth of Clyde and boasts sandy beaches, amazing wildlife, a gothic mansion, and a medieval castle. Perhaps explore the natural and historic heritage of the island at the Bute Museum or relax in Ardencraig Gardens. Our break is based in the Victorian seaside resort of Rothesay, where the Art Nouveau Winter Garden on the waterfront lawns houses a free multi-media exhibition, showcasing all you need to know about the beautiful Isle of Bute.
PLEASE NOTE: Price is per person and based on two people sharing a twin/double room. Single room supplements and upgrades are not included.

Your Holiday Itinerary
Day One. From local pickup points, we make our way to the ferry to Rothesay, then onwards to the Glenburn Hotel to check in for our two night stay. Relax or explore before dinner.Day Two. After breakfast, we enjoy a sightseeing coach drive around this lovely island. We then make our way to Rothesay Castle, a ruined fortress with a long history. It features four round towers surrounded by a wide moat and was the defence against invading Vikings, the summertime residence of Robert the Bruce, then a base for Cromwell’s troops at the end of the seventeenth century.
Day Three. After checking out of our hotel, we make our way to Mount Stuart House & Gardens, a stunning gothic mansion surrounded by 300 acres of gloriously maintained grounds and gardens. Inside this award winning attraction, you’ll be wowed by the labyrinth of lavish rooms, including the Marble Hall where a map of the stars studded with crystals adorns the vaulted ceiling. From here, we head to our ferry back home.
