This sensational seaside escape presents a trio of tempting resorts rolled into one fabulous holiday. Vibrant, cosmopolitan Bournemouth has everything you could possibly want in a beach break. Hop aboard the little land train and pick your spot on a golden beach or head to the pleasure piers for traditional seaside fun. Garden lovers are spoiled for choice with acres of parks such as the Alum Chine with its award winning displays of tropical flowers by the sea. An exciting itinerary sees us hopping aboard ferries firstly to idyllic St Peter Port in Guernsey where you’ll be enchanted by the tapestry of hidden alleyways, tiered gardens and Regency houses. On another day we glide across the water to the chocolate box scenery of the Isle of Wight with its sandstone cliffs and thatched roofed villages. An outing to wonderful Weymouth, home to a World Heritage Jurassic Coastline, charming harbour, Georgian seafront and golden sandy beach completes an enticing getaway.
Unwind on the beach, explore the piers, visit Russell-Cotes Art Gallery, housed in a Grade I listed building and presenting fascinating themed displays or catch the local bus to the Aviation Museum where you’ll find exhibits of historic aircraft.
We head to Poole to board our Condor Ferry for our sail to St Peter Port, Guernsey. Here you will have free time to relax, explore or indulge in some duty free shopping before your return sailing. Maybe you’d like to visit La Vallette Underground Military Museum or see the Victorian Candie Gardens. We dine onboard our ferry as we will be late returning to your hotel.
Visit Nothe Fort, a historic sea fort on the Jurassic Coast with themed exhibits including a World War Two evacuee experience, air raid shelters and a wartime shop.
Isle of Wight
Enjoy some time to explore the island capital of Newport. We return to our hotel in time for dinner.
