This sensational seaside escape presents a string of tempting resorts rolled into one fabulous holiday. Bournemouth has everything you want in a beach break all wrapped up in one beautiful town and you’ll have a day at leisure to explore its beach, pleasure piers and parks. An exciting itinerary sees us hopping aboard ferries firstly to St Peter Port in Guernsey where you’ll be enchanted by the tapestry of hidden alleyways, tiered gardens and Regency houses. On another day we glide across the water to the chocolate box Isle of Wight with its sandstone cliffs and thatched roofed villages.
We head to Poole to board our Condor ferry for our sail to St Peter Port, Guernsey. Here you will have free time to relax, explore or indulge in some duty free shopping before your return sailing. Attractions include Castle Cornet, a large island castle that has defended the harbour for over 800 years. Explore the battlements and the five museums, relax in the four period gardens and take in panoramic views towards the other islands. Maybe you’d like to visit La Vallette Underground Military Museum with its WWI and WWII memorabilia displayed in tunnels. Other attractions include quirkily decorated Hauteville House where Victor Hugo lived during his exile from France and St Peter Port’s beautiful and historic Town Church.
Isle of Wight
We hop aboard the ferry to the delightful Isle of Wight for time to explore the historic town of Newport where attractions include a remarkable Roman villa dating from 280AD and the Sts Thomas Minister with its magnificent stained glass windows depicting scenes from the life of Christ. Perhaps visit the Museum of Island History situated within the historic Guildhall on Newport’s High Street and showcasing the island’s past from the time of the dinosaurs
