This colourful extravaganza attracts 30,000 visitors every year and is set in the thirty-acre Rozelle Park, situated close to the birthplace of Robert Burns in Alloway. Watch floral art and cookery demonstrations then browse around 150 trade and craft stalls. View the plants in the nurseries where gardening enthusiasts can get specialist advice from the experts. Perhaps take in the judging in a variety of competitions covering classes such as flower arranging, bonsai and vegetables. If you work up an appetite, head to the food court where you’ll find a wide choice, including traditional afternoon tea.
