Meet the first polar bear cub to be born in the UK for twenty-five years at the Highland Wildlife Park in the picturesque Cairngorms. This popular attraction has an amazing four polar bears – Victoria, the only female polar bear in Scotland, two adult males called Arktos and Walker and now the cuddly new arrival, named Hamish after a public vote. This exciting park is also home to tigers, bison, elk, wolves and a pretty woodland walk. Our holiday is based in Kingussie in the heart of the sprawling Cairngorms National Park, a place of outstanding beauty with mountains, woodland trails and sparkling lochs. Watch out for a wealth of wildlife such as the ospreys and eagles that grace the skies above ancient forests. Our sightseeing also includes a visit to popular Aviemore.

Your Holiday Itinerary

Day One. Join the coach at your local pickup point then sit back and relax as we enjoy our journey into the Cairngorms National Park with rest stops along the way. Arriving in Kingussie, we check into the exceptional Duke of Gordon Hotel for our two night stay.

Day Two. A great day out as we travel to the exciting Highland Wildlife Park – home to the UK’s first polar bear cub for 25 years! Elsewhere in the park you can take a walk on the wild side at the Amur tiger enclosure, listen to the talks telling you all about the snow monkeys, wildcats, polar bears and snow leopards, stroll past the wolf wood or see the bison in the main reserve. Afterwards, we enjoy some free time in enchanting Aviemore, home to attractions such as the Cairngorm Brewery Company and Loch an Eilein Pottery.

Day Three. After a tasty breakfast, we make our way home.
