The fairytale holiday resort of kirchberg nestles in a picture postcard valley, studded with traditional dwellings and tucked away in the breathtaking Austrian Tyrol. The pretty settlement is a beautiful and peaceful place and our stay coincides with the village’s annual flower parade – an extravaganza where floral sculptures and live music set the scene for a sizzling summer party. Out and about we hop aboard a vintage carriage for a scenic steam train trip, taking in stunning mountain vistas as we climb up to sparkling Lake Achensee. Look forward to a day in the “Sound of Music city” of Salzburg with its maze of alleyways, elegant squares and exquisite churches as well as Mozart’s home to discover.
