This mansion is the premier outpost for the National Galleries of Scotland and houses fine art, while its grounds feature ornamental follies. We also call at Banff where you’ll be enchanted by one of the best-preserved townscapes in the country. Then it’s Fraserburgh with its fisherman’s cottage and Maggie’s Hoosie. A visit to Peterhead Prison Museum - notoriously Scotland’s toughest jail - and a guided tour of Aberdeen City complete our varied tour of this spectacular corner of Scotland.

Guided Tour of AberdeenUncover the history and characters of the Granite City on a guided tour of its many landmarks, followed by free time.
Fraserburgh & Peterhead Prison Museum
Fraserburgh’s main attraction is Kinnaird Head Castle and Museum of Scottish Lighthouses – a full size lighthouse built through a sixteenth century castle. We continue to nineteenth century Peterhead Prison Museum where you can experience life as a warden as you walk through the halls, shower block and silent cell.
Duff House & Banff
Standing in parkland, Duff House houses fine art and furniture, as well as a gift shop. Enjoy its splendour before we move on to the coastal town of Banff where you’ll find Georgian architecture, a harbour and a sandy beach.
