We enjoy a visit to Carnforth, a compact town full of independent shops. Make sure to call in at Carnforth Railway Station and Visitor Centre, where scenes for the 1945 classic Brief Encounter were filmed. Following some free time here we head to Lancaster, one of England’s Heritage Cities with its hidden alleyways and quirky shops.
A visit to the lovely seaside town of Southport, boasting a beautiful and expansive coastline and surrounded by natural beauty. Enjoy free time to explore the shops on Lord Street, take a walk on the promenade, wander along the Pier or just sit and relax and watch the world go by!
