We have been operating our ‘Mature Singles’ holidays for a number of years with all of our single passengers in mind. The majority of rooms we have on allocation at the hotels are for sole occupancy and what’s more – there is NO single supplement to pay.

A fabulous tour for Summer as we take in the stunning scenery of The Wye Valley & The Cotswolds as well as making time to visit Regency Cheltenham and the ‘City of Dreaming Spires’ – Oxford.

Part of the Signature Collection by Best Western and formerly the Hallmark Hotel Gloucester the hotel is in an ideal location for our tour.  All the bedrooms are en-suite and are equipped with TV, telephone, free wi-fi and tea/coffee making facilities.  The hotel offers a restaurant, lounge bar, indoor swimming pool, sauna and steam room.  Sorry No Lift, however ground floor bedrooms may be available

Excursions Included:

  • We enjoy the short journey to Regency Cheltenham, with its beautiful architecture and elegant town centre & shops, where we spend some time at leisure to explore. In the afternoon, we head for Gloucester, with its historic city centre and magnificent cathedral, where we enjoy free time before heading back to the hotel.
  • We travel via Bourton-on-the-Water, Stow-on-the-Wold and Chipping Norton to Oxford, the City of Dreaming Spires. Famous the world over for its University and place in history, Oxford is a bustling cosmopolitan town with a mix of ancient and modern.
  • We follow the River Severn to the historic town of Chepstow where we enjoy a break. From here we meander north up the beautiful Wye Valley, passing the ruins of Tintern Abbey making a stop in Monmouth for some time at leisure.  Following our time here we make our final stop at the market town of Ross-on-Wye on the northern edge of the Forest of Dean before heading back to the hotel.
