- We head north following the coast road to Whitby, the famous fishing port which was once the home of Captain James Cook. High above the harbour stands the 7th century Whitby Abbey, the inspiration for Bram Stoker’s Dracula.
- We enjoy a ride out to the ancient and historic City of York. Here there are lots of things to see and do, an example being: The National Railway Museum, The Jorvik Centre, The Castle Museum, stroll around the City Walls, wander around the excellent shops, explore the quaint alleyways or visit York Minster.
