A lovely tour for summer as we enjoy a visit to unique Sezincote, a 200-year-old Mogul Indian Palace set in a romantic landscape of temples, grottoes, waterfalls & canals. Spend a day exploring what Longleat has to offer and relax with a horse-drawn barge trip on the Kennet & Avon Canal.

We enjoy our journey through the picturesque Cotswolds making our way towards Moreton-in-Marsh for our included visit to Sezincote House & Gardens, reminiscent of the Taj Mahal with its weathered-copper onion dome and a classical – Greek Revival interior! The garden is blessed by a series of spring-fed pools, with gurgling water, waterfalls, temples and grottoes. Following this visit we make a stop in the stunning medieval small market town of Burford with its breath-taking architecture, fantastic array of independent shops, tea shops & inns, where we enjoy some free time.
We make our way to Kintbury where we join our barge for a relaxing 2-hour horse-drawn barge trip on the Kennet & Avon Canal. A sublimely English & nostalgic journey awaits, where you can relax and unwind as the beautiful Berkshire countryside unfolds before you. Following our barge trip, we re-join the coach as we head for the historic market town of Devizes, with its colourful Medieval past and more than 500 listed buildings. We enjoy free time here before making our way back to the hotel.
We enjoy a full day at Longleat. While here we can explore the House, widely regarded as one of the best examples of high Elizabethan architecture in Britain, packed with interesting objects and incredible antiques. Explore the Pleasure Gardens and Formal Gardens an impressive Baroque style garden, filled with canals, parterres, statues & fountains. And live on the wild side with a ride through the safari park!
