* Wroxham Broads Cruise
* Bure Valley Railway
* Poppy Line
* Royal Sandringham
* Cromer & Holt
PLEASE NOTE: Price is per person and based on two people sharing a twin/double room. Single room supplements and upgrades are not included.
- We enjoy a visit to Sandringham House & Grounds, the Norfolk retreat of Her Majesty the Queen, where we have free time to explore. We return to the hotel late afternoon.
- We make our way to the lovely resort of Cromer, famous for its crabs and located on the north Norfolk coast. Following some free time here we continue to Sheringham where we can enjoy the sea air and a train ride on the Poppy Line from Sheringham to Holt. Holt is a pretty Georgian market town with lots of little alleyways to explore.
- We combine a nostalgic steam train ride with a cruise on the Norfolk Broads. We begin at Aylsham where we join the Bure Valley Railway for the 9 miles ride to Wroxham. At Wroxham we make the short journey on foot to where we meet our boat for a cruise around the Broads. We then re-join our coach in Wroxham for the journey back to the hotel which takes us through some of the delightful Broads villages, such as Woodbastwick, with its diminutive green and thatched cottages.
