Keswick & Ambleside
First stop today is the picturesque town of Keswick. Though only a small town, Keswick has a range of shops both in the main Market Square and down every alley and side street. Most of the art galleries are off the main square and sell photographs, paintings, pottery and jewellery by local artists and craftspeople.
Next stop is the Victorian town of Ambleside. See the 17th Century Bridge House over Stock Ghyll beck, one of the moist photographed scenes in Lakeland. Ambleside is now a major tourist resort with shops and restaurants, very popular with walkers and climbers.
PLEASE NOTE: Price is per person and based on two people sharing a twin/double room. Single room supplements and upgrades are not included.
