The highlight of our tour is a Sea Train Adventure. Our coach transports us to Poole where we meet our boat for a one-hour cruise through Poole Harbour down the Jurassic Coast to the Victorian Pier and town of Swanage. Walk through the beautiful town of Swanage to the train station in time to catch the steam train on the Swanage Railway which takes us through picturesque Purbeck and on to the idyllic village of Corfe. Here we have a little free time to explore before catching the return train to Swanage. From here we catch our return boat for the sailing back to Poole Harbour where we will meet our coach & driver who will transport us back to the hotel.
We enjoy a visit to the historic coastal town of Christchurch, rich in heritage & culture and boasts two rivers, a castle, a beautiful 11th century Priory and a mill of Saxon origin. Christchurch Quay overlooks the pretty harbour. Following some free time here we continue into the New Forest, making a stop in Lyndhurst.
Our coach transports us to the seaside resort of Weymouth with its golden sands, shallow waters, level promenade, quayside harbour and quaint colourful streets which offer high street names, gift shops and coffee houses.
We enjoy a visit to the historic Ham Stone town of Sherborne with its abundance of ancient and beautiful buildings, superb Abbey, world famous Schools, picturesque Almshouses and two Castles. Following some free time here we continue to Shaftesbury, home to Gold Hill made famous by the ‘Hovis’ advertBack to top
