We enjoy a leisurely morning in Chippenham, a historic market town with architectural gems as well as modern shopping centres. This afternoon we make the short drive to beautiful Bradford-upon-Avon for a short break before continuing to the timeless village of Lacock, famous for its picturesque streets and as a location for TV and film.
We head for Swindon where we enjoy some free time at the McArthur Glen Outlet for some retail therapy. We then make our way to visit ‘Steam’ the museum of the Great Western Railway. Built on part of the old British Railways locomotive works, this is well worth a visit.Back to top
