Christmas In Ironbridge Gorge & Shrewsbury
A festive break in a beautiful part of the country staying at the popular Buckatree Hall Hotel. The Ironbridge Gorge now a World Heritage Site with its focal point being the bridge itself - the first in the world to be made from iron in 1779. We take a break in Ironbridge Village as well as enjoying a visit to the historic town of Shrewsbury with its black & white timber building and picturesque cobbled alleyways. Also included is a visit to the Theatre for the Christmas Pantomine.

Arrival Day - Welcome Cream Tea on arrival
Christmas Eve - Excursion to Shrewsbury with lunch included at the Prince Rupert Hotel. Evening meal at the hotel followed by entertainment.
Christmas Day - A traditional Christmas Lunch followed by The Queen's speech, tea/coffee, mince pies & Christmas cake. A buffet dinner this evening followed by a festive quiz.
Boxing Day - A scenic drive into Ironbridge Gorge taking a break in Ironbridge Village itself. Back to the hotel for a light lunch. In the afternoon leave for Oakengates Theatre in Telford to take our seats for the Christmas Pantomine. A Gala Dinner at the hotel this evening is followed by entertainment.Back to top
