Weymouth Summer - Crown
Weymouth's fame as a seaside town goes back to the times when King George III and the Royal Family spent their holidays in the resort, making Weymouth The First Resort. The impressive Georgian seafront with its variety of restaurants, pubs, ice cream parlours and souvenir shops combine with a modern pedestrianised shopping centre and busy harbour featuring a bustling flotilla of fishing boats and pleasure craft.

Travel to Weymouth.
At leisure in resort plus we include the excursions: Swanage - An excursion to Swanage, a typical pleasant seaside resort before crossing on the ferry to Poole which has one of the world’s finest natural harbours dotted with islands. Much of Poole’s rich history still survives in the Old Town with an exciting mix of smugglers’ passageways and elegant houses built by rich merchants in the 17th and 18th centuries.Dorchester - A half day excursion to Dorchester, a market town with a close association with Thomas Hardy, who lived in the town and described the surrounding areas in his many novels. We return via Bridport and the Isle of Portland.Bournemouth - We visit Bournemouth - a most stylish resort, elegant with more than a hint of continental atmosphere. Boasting one of the cleanest and safest beaches in Britain with its seven miles of golden sand and sea. There is a fine shopping centre with shops that specialise in fashion, antiques and jewellery.
