Northumbria - Mercure County Hotel
Northumbria is an area of magnificent scenery and is famous for its castles and broad golden beaches. Many stretches of the sweeping coastline are designated areas of natural beauty and are dotted with pretty fishing villages, such as Craster, famous for its Oaksmoked kippers and Bamburgh, famed for its rocky fortress. There are also traditional seaside towns such as Seahouses. Testimony to the regions turbulent past are the many magnificent castles such as Alnwick, Durham and Lindisfarne.

Island access is restricted by tidal conditions and will be at the discretion of the guide and driver. If access is not possible we will visit nearby Berwick on Tweed instead. On our return to the city we continue our panoramic city tour.Northumberland Coast & Alnwick Castle & Gardens - Another full day guided tour with your local Blue Badge Guide.
