Travel to Norwich.
At leisure in resort plus we include the following excursions:Norwich - A full day in the outstanding medieval city of Norwich. At the heart of the city are its 900 year old Norman Cathedral and Castle, which tower over the city. Around every corner you will discover ancient and beautiful buildings. People who love shopping will adore Norwich and even if retail therapy is not top of your holiday list, the incredible range of stores on offer may just convert you. The medieval city is a wonderful mixture of shiny shopping malls and all the high-street stores you would expect combined with individual and speciality shops situated on narrow cobbled streets, lanes and alleys. North Norfolk tour and North Norfolk Line - We enjoy a north Norfolk tour and witness miles of unspoilt coastline and rolling countryside home to a variety of habitats where a huge variety of wildlife thrive. We travel to the popular seaside resort of Cromer whose streets are little removed from how they looked in the Victorian era and its reputation for crab fishing and lifeboats remains undiminished. We continue to Sheringham where we board the North Norfolk line train for a one way journey to Holt. We continue to Wells next the Sea, where despite its name is situated a good mile or so from open water. In Tudor times, when it enjoyed much easier access to the sea, it was one of the great ports of eastern England. It’s still one of the most attractive towns on the north Norfolk coast, and the only one to remain a commercially viable port.Norfolk Broads Cruise - Today we travel to Wroxham where we board a river cruiser and enjoy a 1.5 hours cruise of the Broads. The Broads were formed by medieval peat diggings, which became shallow lakes joined by cuts and dykes to the rivers of the area including the Yare, the Bure, the Wensum and the Waveney.
We depart the hotel and return home.
