For those truly seeking to revel the legacy of the Great War we visit the two main battlefields of WW1, Ypres in Belgium and the Somme in Northern France. Our guided excursions include many of the main military cemeteries, museums and memorials. We include entry to the Passchendaele Experience Museum.

Day 1
We depart local pick ups and travel to Dover/Folkestone for our crossing to Calais and continue our journey to Ypres

Day 2
Today we visit the Ypres Salient with visits to Essex Farm, the Tyne Cot British Cemetery the largest British cemetery on the Western Front, the Langemarck German Cemetery, the site of the new Welsh Memorial, the grave of Hedd Wynthe & the Passchendaele Experience.

Day 3
Today we travel to the Somme where we visit the Welsh Dragon Monument at Mametz Wood, Lochnagar Crater Memorial at La Boiselle, Beaumont Hamel and the Thiepval Memorial where a gigantic stone monument carries the names of 75,000 British and Commonwealth soldiers of no known grave.

Day 4
We depart the hotel after breakfast & visit the Vimy Ridge Memorial before arriving in Calais and complete the journey home. Edwards Coach Holidays Terms a Conditions Apply.
