VERY IMPORTANT NOTE - ITALIAN STAY TAX
The Italian Government has given the ability for each municipalities in Italy to decide if they wish to introduce a stay tax levied on tourists. This has been implemented sporadically throughout Italy with each municipalities deciding how they collect this. The tax broadly ranges from €1-€5 per person per night and is generally collected from each passenger on arrival. Due to the uncertain nature of collection and the decision being made by the municipalities we are recommending that all passengers are made aware of this on booking to ensure that any tax can be paid on arrival at their hotel if you are asked for it.

We continue to Pisa to witness one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the famous leaning tower, which is one of many architecturally and artistically important structures in the city’s Campo dei Miracoli including the beautiful Duomo (the Cathedral), the Baptistry and the Campo Santo.

It consists of five picturesque and colourful villages, Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore each with carefully built terraces that cling to the rugged cliffs.
