Plan My Trip

Day 1
Travel to Pembroke for our ferry crossing to Rosslare, then onto Dublin for overnight stop on a bed and breakfast basis.

Day 2
After breakfast we take a guided tour of the capital city with its host of landmarks, shops and eateries to suit all tastes. We then continue onto our base Derry for a three night stay.

Day 3
Today starts with a scenic drive and guided tour around the Inishowen Peninsular to Malin Head, the northernmost point in Ireland. Return to Derry on the banks of the River Foyle, the only completely walled city in Ireland. We take a walking tour of the city to discover its chequered past and history.

Day 4
We visit the Giants Causeway this morning, an area of outstanding natural beauty and a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its unique volcanic stone pillar, shrouded in folklore and fairy-tales. This afternoon we head back to Londonderry, Derry, Doire or even ‘Legenderry’ as it has been recently renamed, is a centre of culture and creativity. This vibrant destination offers a unique combination of rich heritage and a buzzing social scene.

Day 5
We depart the hotel for a visit to the Ulster American Folk Park, one of the country’s major museums. Here you’ll experience the epic story of Ireland’s emigration from the thatched cottages of Ulster to the American Frontier brought to life through re-enactments. We continue to our final overnight stay in Dublin in time for dinner.

Day 6
After an early breakfast we travel to Dublin Port for the early morning sailing to Holyhead. Continue the journey home.
