Day One
We travel to Pickering to join the North Yorkshire Moors railway. We travel the whole line passing through the stunning scenery of the North York Moors National Park. We arrive into wonderful Whitby early afternoon and the remainder of the day is free to explore this historic harbour town.
Day Two
Into the Yorkshire Dales National Park our first stop is the ‘original’ Richmond. This beautiful Dales market town, offers a Norman castle, Georgian architecture, a large cobbled market place, with museums and monuments, and the fast flowing river Swale. Our Dales adventure then continues as we join the scenic A684, we’ll have a short stop off at Aysgarth, giving you chance to walk down to see the beautiful Falls before continuing to Hawes – England’s highest market town, where we enjoy an afternoon visit.
