We visit the beautiful and historic town of Ludlow en-route to our hotel. See the beautiful timbered buildings on the high street or head up to the Castle
A morning visit to Hereford, the county town of Herefordshire is followed by a beautiful drive to Hay on Wye. This fascinating town is a book lover's paradise and a lovely and unique place to visit
We enjoy a drive through the pretty Forest of Dean and Wye Valley today, our first stop is Symonds Yat where we join the Kingfisher Cruise for a lovely sail along the river, we then continue our drive passing Tintern Abbey and spend the afternoon in Chepstow before returning to our hotel
After a leisurely breakfast we head for Shrewsbury, this historic Market Town boasts over 600 listed buildings including the Castle, now a regimental museum and the world-famous Shrewsbury Abbey, home of the fictional Brother Cadfael. We return to the North West for 4.30pm
