We’ve done the Whisky Trail now it’s time for the Castle Trail, starting at Banchory the trail stretches for 50 miles and has more castles per acre than anywhere else in the UK. It was a tough choice of which one to visit, but the winner was Drum Castle – this 700 year old Castle offers stories of Robert the Bruce to the Jacobites and offers stunning gardens and an ancient Oak Forest. This afternoon we’ll spend some free time in the Granite City – Aberdeen.
