Plan My Trip

Excursion 1
Today we enjoy the scenery of Royal Deeside – an area much loved by the Royal family, our day is highlighted with a visit to stunning Balmoral. Standing in the shadows of Lochnagar Balmoral is a much loved retreat for the Queen and her family. Your visit includes and Audio tour of the Grounds, Gardens & Exhibitions where you can hear stories of the history of this famous Castle. Following our visit we head to the pretty town of Ballater on the banks of the River Dee.

Excursion 2
More scenic delights today as we head through the Grampian Highlands to join the Malt Whisky Trail at Dufftown. This is the most well-known Whisky region – Speyside, and the only one of its kind in the World. Along the trail we will stop for a Tour & tasting before heading for the Moray Coast, peppered with small fishing villages. This afternoon we’ll spend some free time in the Royal Burgh of Banff dating back to 1163

Excursion 3
We’ve done the Whisky Trail now it’s time for the Castle Trail, starting at Banchory the trail stretches for 50 miles and has more castles per acre than anywhere else in the UK. It was a tough choice of which one to visit, but the winner was Drum Castle – this 700 year old Castle offers stories of Robert the Bruce to the Jacobites and offers stunning gardens and an ancient Oak Forest. This afternoon we’ll spend some free time in the Granite City – Aberdeen.
