Day One
We travel to our Hotel in Cwmbran enjoying our lunch stop in the lovely Cathedral City of Hereford

Day Two
A morning visit to the excellent Royal Mint Experience, here you’ll get to see how coins and medals for over 100 countries are made, including our very own pounds and pence. Have you ever seen £1 Million .......... in pound coins? Well you’ll get the chance to today. This afternoon we enjoy a visit to the Hensol Distillery - nestled just outside Cardiff, Hensol Castle Distillery is South Wales’ first full-scale distillery, gin & rum school, visitor experience and contract bottling facility. Enjoy an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the traditional copper still, the distillation process, and the rich history of spirits production within the walls of Hensol Castle - there's a nice G&T to enjoy too.

Day Three
INto the Welsh Capital today for a full day exploring, see historic Cardiff Castle, or wander the shopping streets, there's also the Cardiff Bay area formerly a thriving tidal dockland, famous for exporting Welsh coal to the world, the area is now a vibrant waterfront surrounding the shore of a stunning freshwater lake. Today, Cardiff Bay is known as a popular destination for visitors and locals alike, synonymous with entertainment, relaxation and enjoyment.

Day Four
This morning we head to the Brecon Beacons to join the Brecon Mountain Railway one of the Great Little Trains of Wales. The journey takes us through Pontsticill and follows The Tag Fechan Reservoir before claiming to Torpantau high in The Brecon Beacons. Our return journey will enjoy a stop off at Pontsticill where we can see The Museum and Lakeside cafe. We'll then return to the station at Pant, and free time will be given to browse the shop and visit the tea rooms to purchase lunch. Our afternoon will take us to the Rhondda Heritage Park a fascinating Welsh Mining experience, with former miners giving tours and insights, along with cafe, craft shop, and Chocolate House

Day Five
We head home with a morning visit to the bustling market town of Abergavenny on market day, and a lunch stop in lovely Ludlow before returning to the north West for 4.30pm

The Parkway Hotel is situated in its own grounds and surrounded by green parkland. With spacious public areas including the bar where entertained takes place at the weekends and also a cosy lounge area and an elegant and intimate restaurant. Extensive leisure facilities include indoor pool, gym and sauna. The lovely bedrooms offers all the little luxuries you would expect including tea/coffee making facilities, TV, hairdryer and iron and are on the ground or 1st floor with views of the grounds. No lift.
