Stunning Sandringham in Norfolk, was the much-loved Country Retreat of her late Majesty the Queen and where the Royal family often spend their Christmases. Sandringham Flower Show returns in 2023 for the 140th Anniversary, expect display gardens, exhibitor stands, competitions for frit, veg & flower arrangements, gardening talks and a craft Marquee. This one-day show attracts around 20,000 visitors each year and is know as one of the most prestigious horticultural events in the East of England. Our holiday also enjoys free time in the medieval City of Norwich and we head to the seaside resort of Cromer too.

PLEASE NOTE: Price is per person and based on two people sharing a twin/double room. Single room supplements and upgrades are not included.
Excursion 1
We make the short journey into the Centre of Norwich where we spend the full day at leisure, Explore the intricate network of winding streets and over 1,500 historic buildings, from the splendour of the Norman Cathedral and Castle to charming Elm Hill with its timber framed houses.
Excursion 2
To Sandringham we go for the 140th Flower Show, entrance is included and we'll have the full day to enjoy the displays, competitions and talks and maybe pick up some delights for your own garden at home.
Excursion 3
To the coast we go, and the lovely traditional seaside town of Cromer. Famous for the traditional Pier which is home to a lifeboat station and Pavilion Theatre, where the UK's only remaining traditional end of the pier variety show takes place each Summer and Winter. The pier is an enduring example of Victorian architecture, having withstood many storms, tidal surges and even an attempt to blow it up by the Government in WW2 to prevent the pier being used as a landing strip for enemy invaders

Wensum Valley Hotel, Golf & Country Club * * *
Located in the village of Taverham on the outskirts of Norwich and offering views over the hotels two 18 hole Golf Courses and the Wensum Valley. Bedrooms are traditionally furnished and offer TV, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. The Valley Restaurant makes use of local produce where possible and you'll also find a lovely patio area great for a drink in the summer sunshine. Leisure facilities include indoor pool, sauna, steam room & spa bath. There is no lift but the hotel does offer a limited number of ground floor rooms.
