To Maidenhead to board our afternoon Rich & famous Cruise with afternoon tea. Your locally-born skipper knows all there is to know and will let you into the inside secrets of the inhabitants of some of the finest waterside houses in the country. Hear stories of Diana Dors and her infamous parties, The Roux Brothers, Michael Parkinson, Billy Connolly, notorious 'Botany Bay', the Thames' very own 'red light' district, the pretty cottage of Edward VII's mistress, Lily Lantry and much more! A fascinating trip. We then head to our hotel to settle in before dinner. (Please Note Lunch is Afternoon Tea)
Today we head to Henry VIII's Hampton Court Palace. The Great Hall is England's greatest medieval hall and one of Britain's oldest theatres, see the Chapel Royal which has been in continuous use for over 450 years, feel the heat of the Tudor Kitchens, admire the baroque state rooms and the wander through over 60 acres of beautifully maintained and internationally celebrated gardens including the World Famous Maze
After a leisurely breakfast we make the short journey to Windsor to enjoy free time in the Royal town, visit the Castle, browse the shops or enjoy a sail or walk along the pretty river. We return back to the North West for approx. 6.30pm
