We are delighted to offer you the chance to visit the fabulous 1940's War Weekend in Pickering - a favourite with our Day Excursion passenger over the last few years. What started as a festival on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway has expanded to the whole town, coming to life with singing, dancing, parades and fashion shows, in addition to living history showcases, period vehicle exhibitions and re-enactments that take you back in time to war time Britain.

Day One
We visit the lovely Spa town of Harrogate, explore the pretty parks and gardens, shop along the High Streets or indulge in a cake a Betty's Tea Room. We continue to our hotel arriving late afternoon
Day Two
After breakfast we head into the North Yorkshire Moors and enjoy a stunning drive through Heartbeat Country which takes us to Pickering where we spend the day enjoying the 1940's War Weekend Celebrations. Leaving Pickering around 5.30pm to arrive back into the North West at approx. 8.30pm

Situated close to the town centre of Middlesbrough, offering guests all the comforts of home with stylish rooms equipped with, ensuite bathrooms with complimentary toiletries, a flat screen T, a work desk, in-room safe, iron and ironing board and more.
