We head to the popular Shap Wells Hotel in the lovely Lake District for a 'Murder at Downton' themed break. Get your glad rags on as you are invited to 'Highclere Castle' but something goes wrong with blood curdling screams and a body found face down in the fountain - can you help catch the killer? Our break also enjoys time exploring the stunning Lake District and a lovely lake sail.

Day One
To Lakeside at the Southern tip of Windermere, to join the Windermere Lake Cruise for a wonderful scenic sail to Bowness. Spend the afternoon at leisure in lovely Bowness before rejoining the coach for a scenic drive to the hotel.
Day Two
Today we’ll enjoy the scenery of Ullswater, Glenridding & Patterdale as we travel to Ambleside for our 1st stop of the day. We’ll continue our journey passing Rydal Water, Grasmere and Thirlmere for our 2nd stop in Keswick. We return to the hotel in time to get our glad rags on for our evening at ‘Downton Abbey’ – black tie & sparkle is preferred to really get into the spirit of the evening.
Day Three
We’ll have a leisurely start to the day – for those who made it through the night!!! Visits today will include Appleby and then into the Yorkshire Dales visiting Hawes and an afternoon stop inKirkby Lonsdale before returning the North West for approx. 6.30pm.
