Our holiday head's for Kent known as the Garden of England due to the abundance of orchards and hop fields. This historic region of England is dotted with historic Castle's, medieval towns, villages, ports and fishing villages. Our itinerary showcases the very best of the area as we encounter the history of the two medieval castles of Dover, with the secret underground war tunnels, underground hospital and the Great Tower and the romantic setting of Leeds Castle with a blend of heritage and history within 500 acres of beautiful parkland. We also visit the stunning City of Canterbury and enjoy an award winning historic trip on the river where we discover the hidden beauty and secrets of this medieval gem.

The comfortable en-suite bedrooms offer flat screen TV, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. Please Note the hotel does not have a lift, all rooms are on ground or 1st floor.
EXCURSION 1 To medieval Canterbury, on arrival we join an award winning 40 minute River Tour, on the River Stour, which gives you a unique look at the City. Pass medieval buildings, see the famous Cathedral - England's oldest, the famous ducking stool and much more. Following the tour explore this lovely city at your own pace.
EXCURSION 2 Today we visit Dover Castle & the Secret Wartime Tunnels. Spectacularly situated above the famous white cliffs this magnificent castle has guarded our shores for 20 centuries. The Secret Wartime tunnels are Fascinating to explore as is the richly furnished Great Tower, where costumed actors introduce medieval life at King Henry II's court.
EXCURSION 3 Another day, another Castle and quite possibly the loveliest Castle in the World. Leeds Castle has a history spanning 900 years, set on two islands on the River Len, lavish interiors, craft café, shops, falconry & maze. This afternoon we visit Rochester with its stunning Cathedral, Castle and historic links to writer Charles Dickens.Back to top
