The Royal Esplanade Hotel is a characterful Victorian Grade II Listed building that has been lovingly and sympathetically restored to ensure this beautiful hotel will continue to thrive for another 140 years! Enjoy soul warming dishes from years gone by lovingly reconstructed with modern twists to provide you a luxury home away from home meal experience. Bedrooms are en-suite with TV, tea/coffee making facilities and hairdryer. Lift to all floors, however due to the historic nature of the hotel there may be steps & stairs to negotiate.
Trouville Hotel * * * (October 2024)
Situated centrally on Sandown's seafront, the Trouville stands opposite the golden beach with panoramic views over the Bay. The hotel are proud of their reputation for delivering high standards in food, service and hospitality. Spend your days lazing in the bars and lounge then the hotel comes alive in the evening, with live entertainment in the stylish ballroom. The 'Green Room' is the indoor leisure facility with 4 dedicated lanes of short mat bowls and indoor pursuits such as table tennis, darts and pool table. Bedrooms are all en-suite and offer TV, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. Lift.

Excursion One:
This morning we head for East Cowes and Queen Victoria's stunning Osborne House. Experience the stunning Victorian opulence and extravagant interiors, including the Indian decor of the Dunbar Room. See the private apartments, including the Queen's bedroom, the Swiss Cottage - a chalet built for the royal children. Whilst the extensive grounds offer stunning views across the Solent, a Victorian Walled Garden and Horthouse containing exotic plants. Following your time around Osborne House you'll have free time to explore East Cowes, or why not catch the Chain ferry across to West Cowes, a vibrant yachting town with independant shops, bars, and restaurants.
Excursion Two:
We enjoy a nostalgic journey on the island Steam Railway this morning, and for holidays based in Sandown, we then head to Ryde to spend free time in the afternoon, for holidays based in Ryde we'll head off to Shanklin to spend a few hours in this delightful village.
